Kajal

KAJAL AGGARWAL

BIOGRAPHY

Name: Kajal Aggarwal
Sex: Female
Date of Birth: 19 Jun 1985
Place of Birth: Mumbai

ABOUT KAJAL AGGARWAL:

Kajal Aggarwal is an Indian actress, who has appeared in Telugu and Tamil films. She made her acting debut in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na, playing a minor supporting role, before becoming a leading actress in the major South Indian film industries. She rose to fame after her performance as Yuvarani Mitravinda and Indu in the 2009 Telugu blockbuster film Magadheera.

She began her acting career in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na, in which she enacted a minor supporting role as the friend of Diya, the film's lead female, played by Aishwarya Rai. Only 3 years later, she got her next acting offer, which was veteran Tamil director Bhrathiraja's Bommalattam. The film, however, got delayed and released only in late 2008.

In the meantime, she made her debut in the Telugu film industry and played her first leading role in Teja's Lakshmi Kalyanam alongside Kalyan Ram, which did not do well at the box office. Later that year, she appeared in the Krishna Vamsi-directed film Chandamama, which became her first major successul film.

In 2008, she had her first Tamil-language film release, which was Perarasu's action entertainer Pazhani. The film, in which she shared screen space with Bharath was a commercial success. Following this film, she had two more Tamil releases that year with Venkat Prabhu's comedy-thriller Saroja, in which she did a guest appearance, and finally Bharathiraja's investigative thriller Bommalattam.

Especially the former film went on to become a commercial as well as a critical success, but both films failed to boost her career as her roles were too insignificant. Both her Telugu releases that year, Pourudu and Aatadista opposite Sumanth and Nitin, respectively, neither received positive reviews nor were successul at the box office.

2009 she had four releases, three of which in Telugu. Her only Tamil film that year, which was Saran's Modhi Vilayadu, released first; it garnered mixed reviews and poor box office returns. Next she starred in the Magadheera, in which she essayed double roles for the first time. The film recevied universal critical acclaim as did the lead actors, including Kajal Agarwal, for their performances.

Agarwal, particularly, was praised for her portrayal of a princess, Yuvarani Mithravindha, in the film. The film was also commercially highly successful and broke several records, emerging as the highest-grossing Telugu film and as one of the biggest box office hits in India. Following Magadheera's phenomenal success, Agarwal became one of the most sought-after actresses in the Telugu film industry, catapulting her into the main foray of lead Telugu actresses.

SAMANTHA
BIOGRAPHY
Name: Samantha
Sex: Female
Date of Birth: 28 Apr 1987
Place of Birth: Chennai

ABOUT SAMANTHA:
Samantha Ruth Prabhu (Tamil: சமந்தா ரூத் பிரபு) is an Indian film actress and model who appears in Tamil and Telugu films. Born to Malayalee and Telugu parents, Samantha was brought up in Tamil Nadu and pursued a career in modelling during her late teens. Despite signing up to Ravi Varman's Moscowin Kaveri in mid 2007, her first major release was the critically acclaimed Gautham Menon film, Ye Maaya Chesave, which got released in February 2010.

Early life and family
Born on April 28, 1987 to a Malayalee mother and a Telugu father, Samantha was brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu becoming fluent in the Tamil language.

Career
Despite signing up for three Tamil films in quick succession, Samantha's first release was Indira Productions' Gautham Menon directed, Ye Maaya Chesave. The film, a simultaneous remake of the Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, created much anticipation prior to release, primarily due to the successful soundtrack from A. R. Rahman.

The actress was signed up for the project in mid August 2009 and completed schedules across India and the United States for the film which released in February 2010. The film portrays Samantha as the lead character of Jessie, which was also the working title of the film; a Malayalee Christian girl living in Hyderabad, whom the male protaganist, played by Naga Chaitanya falls in love with. Upon release, Samantha received very positive reviews for her portrayal, with the film also garnering much critical acclaim.Samantha, alongside her co-star, Naga Chaitanya, also appeared in a guest appearance in the Tamil version of the film.

Ravi Varman's Moscowin Kaveri began in August 2007, with Samantha, then briefly known as Yasodha, joining the team later in the year. The film introduced a host of new actors, with music carried out by Thaman, then making his debut in music composing. In an interview, much prior to release in 2008, Ravi Varman mentioned that he had decided that Samantha would be the lead actress for his film within three minutes after viewing one of her commercial assignments.

In the interview, he went on to describe her as an actress with "intelligence" and "potential", whilst drawing comparisons with noted actress, Revathi. However, due to Ravi Varman's date conflicts with his projects as a cinematographer, the film is still languishing in development hell, but is likely to release during 2010.

The movie was well received by the audiences. That was the turning point in his career.

Vamsi, who was planning his comeback innings, directed RaviTeja in Avunu Validharu Ishtapaddaru. It definitely welcomed Vamsi back into the industry and added another hit to Ravi Teja's kitty. his time he wanted to produce the film too. Idiot came out and set a new image for Ravi Teja as a ragamuffin and mass hero. BIOGRAPHY

Name: Jr. Ntr
Sex: Male
Date of Birth: 20 May 1983
Place of Birth: Hyderabad

ABOUT JR. NTR:

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (born May 20, 1983) more popularly known as NTR Jr.,Tarak, or just NTR, is a popular Indian film actor. He is a grandson of Late Shri Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, who is a legendary actor, statesman, and former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.[1] He is the son of Sri. Nandamuri Harikrishna (NTR's son) and Smt. Shalini. He is fondly called as Tarak by his family, friends and close associates. Later, he changed his name to Taraka Rama Rao in honor of his grandfather. Many cine and political analysts believe that he is the next big star from the Nandamuri family.

Tarak began his career as a Kuchipudi dancer and a child artist. His first step into Tollywood was with the movie Bala Ramayanam, directed by Gunasekhar. Ironically, his character in the movie was Lord Sri Rama, a role "patented" by his grandfather NTR ! After a few years, Tarak made his re-entry into the Tollywood with Ninnu Choodalani in 2001; but it failed to perform well at the box office. He went on to gain fame with Student No. 1 (also released in 2001), directed by S.S. Rajamouli, followed by Subbu and Aadi, which was a blockbuster, and created huge stardom for Tarak. In January 2003, Tarak came up with Naaga; though the movie raised some political issues worth giving a thought, it was average at box-office. However, in July 2003, his movie Simhadri became a block-buster and the highest grossing film in Tollywood, and made Tarak and director Rajamouli as household names. At the age of 20, he became a sensation of his generation and gave his seniors a run for their glory. When asked, what message would he like to give to fans, he responded by saying "I'm too young to give any message to all those who have so much respect and love for the Nandamuri family and me. I simply bow my head to them."

Starting from 2004 his career took a downward turn. His first release of 2004, Andhrawala, flopped miserably at the box office despite the pre-release hype,[2]. The next movie, Samba, was an average grosser and the only respite during that period. The movie remained at the top of the box office due to lack of major releases from other big stars for fifty days.[2] In 2005 his two releases, Naa Alludu and Narasimhudu, flopped at the box office. Narasimhudu in particular was such a commercial disaster that it led to a suicide attempt from the producer.[3]. In 2006, his movie Ashok had good openings,[4]. The movie was in particular appreciated for its technical values and the gripping screenplay from director Surendar Reddy.

His next movie Rakhi, which proved a success at the box office, has gained Tarak admirable reviews from fans and critics alike.[5] The movie was directed by Krishna Vamsi. His next movie, Yamadonga, which was inspired by his grandfather's blockbuster Yamagola, released on August 15, 2007. The movie brought him back into the super-hit stream, and became the sensational movie of the year 2007 in Tollywood. His latest release, Kantri, which exposed his superb skill of dancing, has also done well at the box-office. This is for the first time, that Tarak has given two hit movies in a row.

His all-round acting abilities, and wonderful performance in 2007 blockbuster Yamadonga, made Late Legendary Actor Shoban Babu remark Tarak as one of his favorite actors in this generation, and reckoned that Tarak has done everything in such a short span of time to impress everyone.
